Congressman Dan Kildee Announces Leave of Absence of Jennifer Cox

January 29, 2018
Press Release

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) announced today that his Chief of Staff, Jennifer Cox, will take a leave of absence from his congressional office, starting February 12, 2018. Cox is leaving to work as a Regional Political Director for a political organization in Washington, D.C.

“I am grateful for Jen’s leadership and counsel during the last three years, including as we fought in Congress for a Flint aid package after the water crisis,” Congressman Kildee said. “Jen’s experience and depth of knowledge about Congress have served the people of the Fifth Congressional District well. I look forward to welcoming Jen back to my congressional office later this year.”

Mitchell Rivard will assume the role of Congressman Kildee’s Chief of Staff. Rivard, a native of Bay City, Mich., has served on Congressman Kildee’s staff since he was elected in 2013, including the last three years as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director.
