Congressman Dan Kildee to Hold Telephone Townhall on Coronavirus Thursday
Kildee to Give Update, Answer Questions on Actions by Congress to Aid Michigan Families, Seniors and Small Businesses During Pandemic
Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, will hold a telephone townhall on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at 5 p.m. ET to discuss actions by Congress to support Michigan families, seniors and small businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. On the call, Congressman Kildee will be joined by health officials to answer questions from Michigan residents.

This week, Congress is expected to vote on a fourth coronavirus relief package that will provide additional funding to the Paycheck Protection Program for small businesses, as well as additional funding to support hospitals and increase testing.
Previously, Congressman Kildee voted in support of H.R. 748, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) Act which provides $1,200 to eligible taxpayers and non-filers, expands unemployment benefits, offers support for small business and support for health care workers and health facilities.
