Congressman Dan Kildee to Hold Telephone Townhall on Coronavirus Thursday

Kildee to Give Update, Answer Questions on Actions by Congress to Aid Michigan Families, Seniors and Small Businesses During Pandemic

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, will hold a telephone townhall on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 5 p.m. ET to discuss actions by Congress to support Michigan families, seniors and small businesses during the coronavirus pandemic. On the call, Congressman Kildee will be joined by health officials to answer questions from Michigan residents.

In May, the House passed The Heroes Act which includes an additional $1,200 direct payments to families, funding for schools, an expansion of federal unemployment insurance and funding for state and local governments.
