Dear Constituent—

WASHINGTON—Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus and member of the Ways and Means Committee, issued the following statement today after President-elect Joe Biden nominated Katherine Tai, Chief Trade Counsel on the House Ways and Means Committee, to serve as U.S. Trade Representative (USTR):
“President-elect Biden has made an outstanding choice in selecting Katherine Tai to serve as the next U.S. Trade Representative.
WASHINGTON—Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, issued the following statement today after President-elect Joe Biden nominated Congresswoman Marcia Fudge (OH-11) to serve as Secretary of House and Urban Development:
“Congresswoman Fudge is an outstanding choice by President-elect Biden to lead the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Being from Cleveland, Marcia Fudge knows first-hand the challenges that many older, industrial communities face, particularly in the Midwest.
