FLINT—Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, issued the following statement after third quarter gross domestic product (GDP) numbers were released:
“This report highlights the continued urgent need for action as families and our economy recover from this virus. This pandemic is not over. While any economic growth is welcome news, we are nowhere close to the economic output and job creation before this pandemic started. Millions of Americans are still out of work, particularly in communities of color.
