Statement by Congressman Dan Kildee on the Passing of Congressman Mark Takai

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) issued the following statement regarding the passing of Congressman Mark Takai (HI-01): “I am heartbroken to hear the news of Congressman Mark Takai’s passing. Mark was not just a dedicated public servant, veteran and father, but a friend to me and many others. Hawaii and the entire country will miss his thoughtful leadership and remarkable character. Jennifer and I extend our deepest thoughts and prayers to Mark's family and friends as they honor his life.”
