December 2, 2017
Press Release
Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) issued the following statement today after Congressman Sander Levin (MI-09) announced that he would not seek re-election in 2018:

“I have respected Sandy since my earliest days in politics. To have the opportunity to serve with him in Congress has been an incredible honor. Sandy isn’t just a colleague; he is a mentor and dear friend.

“For decades, Sandy has fought for fair trade deals, affordable health care, and the rights of workers everywhere. His contributions will be evident for a long time, not just in the U.S., but around the globe.

“I will never forget that Sandy was one of the first Members of Congress to come to Flint and help residents recover from the water crisis. His devotion to public service is unwavering.”
