Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) issued the following statement today after a federal aid package for Flint was included in the Water Resources Development Act: “There is an ongoing emergency in my hometown of Flint, Michigan that demands a response from Congress. After two years, Flint – a city of 100,000 people – still does not have access to safe water.
Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) will host coffee hours in three counties to meet with constituents directly and hear their concerns. The coffee hour events are free and open to the public. Local residents are encouraged to attend and discuss their opinions face-to-face with Congressman Kildee.
