Veterans Service Organizations

There are several Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs) that help veterans and their families with finding, applying for, receiving, and maintaining veteran's benefits. These services are provided free of charge.

Genesee County has their own Department of Veteran Services. This department provides the same services as the national organizations listed below, but closer to home. In addition to helping with any federal benefits provided through the VA, they can also assist with any veteran's benefits provided by state and local government agencies.

Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin

Congressman Kildee would like to present veterans in Michigan with the Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin as a lasting keepsake for their service and sacrifice on behalf of our nation. Living United States veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975 are eligible to receive a lapel pin.
